30 days. No questions. No restocking fees.

If your aircraft doesn't belong in your hangar, we'll bring it home.

You have 30 days from the day your aircraft is delivered to start a return. If it's still in its original packaging, undisplayed, and undamaged, we refund the purchase price in full — minus the original shipping cost. No restocking fees. No "as a one-time courtesy." That's the policy, every time.

Damaged in transit? That's not a return. That's a replacement.

If your aircraft arrives damaged — broken propeller, cracked canopy, paint scuffed in shipping — that's not your fault and it's not a return.

Email crew@ironsquadron.com within 14 days of delivery with:

  1. A photo of the aircraft showing the damage
  2. A photo of the shipping box
  3. A photo of the internal packing

We'll ship a replacement within 48 hours of confirmation. No need to return the damaged aircraft — we don't want to risk it in transit again.

How to bring it back

  1. Email crew@ironsquadron.com within 30 days of delivery. Include your order number and the reason for return. You don't need to give a reason if you'd rather not — but it helps us improve the hangar.
  2. We'll respond within 24 hours with a return authorization number and the return shipping address.
  3. Pack the aircraft in its original box and outer packaging. The aircraft must be: unopened OR opened but never displayed; free of fingerprints, dust, or alteration; complete with all original packaging materials, stand, and inserts.
  4. Ship the package back to us at the address provided. You cover return shipping unless the return is due to our error.
  5. We process the refund within 5 business days of receiving the returned aircraft, to your original payment method.

What we can't take back

A few items can't be returned for hygiene, customization, or finality reasons:

  • Engraved or personalized display stands — once your name is on it, it's yours.
  • Squadron Patches — sewn-on apparel items, all sales final.
  • Final-sale aircraft — clearly marked as "Final Sale" on the product page.
  • Limited edition / numbered series — once allocated, the number is yours. (See exceptions for damage below.)

If a final-sale aircraft arrives damaged, the lifetime transit warranty still applies.

When the money comes back

  • You ship the return — 1–5 business days (your courier's speed)
  • We receive & inspect — Within 24 hours of arrival
  • Refund processed — Within 5 business days of inspection
  • Funds appear in your account — 3–10 business days (depends on your bank/card)

Total typical time: 2–3 weeks from return shipment to money back in your account.

Refunds go back to the original payment method only. We can't refund to a different card or split refunds across accounts.

Need to swap an aircraft?

We don't process direct exchanges — but here's the next-best thing:

  1. Start a return on the aircraft you don't want.
  2. Place a new order for the one you do want.

We'll process them in parallel. If you let us know you're doing this, we'll often waive the return shipping cost as a one-time courtesy.

Wait — I just placed the wrong order.

If your order hasn't shipped yet, we can almost always change or cancel it.

  • Within 1 hour of ordering: Email or chat — we'll catch it before processing.
  • Same business day: Usually still fixable, but we move fast — the sooner you tell us, the better.
  • After it ships: It becomes a return once it arrives.
