The Aircraft
Originally built to carry a spacecraft on its back, the An-225 became a legend of global heavy airlift — hauling cargo nothing else could move. With six engines and a 290-foot wingspan, only one was ever completed.
A Tribute
The Mriya was destroyed in 2022 at its home base near Kyiv. We offer this model as a tribute — a small way to remember an extraordinary aircraft and the people who built and flew it. "Mriya" means dream; the dream of rebuilding it lives on.
