Arrives safe — or we replace it free
Every aircraft ships double-boxed and foam-cradled so the airframe travels protected. If anything arrives damaged in transit, we replace it free — just email crew@ironsquadron.com within 30 days of delivery.
The Mustang that first proved what the design could do.
This 1:72 diecast P-51B captures the earlier "razorback" Mustang — the version that first paired the airframe with the engine that made it legendary.
The Aircraft
The P-51B introduced the Merlin-engined Mustang to the fight, giving Allied bombers an escort that could finally go the distance. Its framed canopy and razorback spine mark it apart from the later bubble-top D.
The Legacy
The B model started a legend the Mustang never let go of. We build this model to honor the early crews who proved it.
The Model
- Scale: 1:72 — sharp, detailed desk size
- Diecast metal body, pre-built and pre-painted
- Includes display stand
- Recommended age 14+ — a collector's display piece, not a toy
Why Collectors Want It
The razorback B is a great companion to a bubble-top D — two chapters of the same legend.
